Uniform April, 2007
Established & Sons
The utilitarian nature of anonymous old classroom chairs first inspired the design of the Uniform Chair. The features of these entirely functional objects are recognised are clearly articulated in this chair which also furthers the exploration in the processes of manipulating sheet metal. Intelligent, sophisticated folds within the legs and frame define its form, whilst a classic combination of industrial materials: metal and plywood, further enhances the character of this versatile chair.
